The Penny Loafer shoes are very famous and popular style of loafers which was introduced by G.H.Bass in 1934 or 1936. From that time, the company is known for their penny loafer shoes. The design of penny loafers has a distinctive strip of leather (the saddle) of the shoe with a diamond-shaped cut-out. Initially, the design was called as Weejuns but later it is termed as penny loafer and was popular among school kids during 1950s. According to a theory the origin of Penny loafer is Norwegians while some other says that it is American style.
